“Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane”.
On December 22, 2023, Santa made a stop at MVN&RC to visit with residents in their wing or room, and presented each resident with a gift. Although Santa did not have his team of reindeer, he did have helpers to assist him with his visits and gift giving. There were 2 ex-large red sacks with gifts to be transported throughout the facility. As Santa visited the residents, his workers helped manage the gift giving and sang carols to the residents as they strolled with Santa on his visits.
As Santa was about to hand a gift to a resident, he would ask, “Have you been good this year?” With a smile each resident responded with a “YES”!
The residents, Santa, and his helpers all had a “merry” time during Santa’s visit.
“So, I offer you this simple phrase, for those from 1 to 102, although it’s been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you”.
