Residents enjoyed making a variety of pumpkin crafts to help them get their rooms ready for the upcoming Halloween season. Some were Scarecrows and others were Jack-O-Lanterns. Using an orange paper plate as our pumpkin and foam piece kits turning those ordinary plates into wonderful masterpieces. Enjoy looking at some of the pictures we captured when handing them out after they dried.
Fall has come to Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the leaves are changing the air is crisper it all reminds me of something that Winnie the Pooh famously said,
“It’s the first day of autumn! A time of hot chocolatey mornings, and toasty marshmallow evenings, and, best of all, leaping into leaves!” – Winnie the Pooh, “Pooh’s Grand Adventure”
With the cooler weather and obvious signs of fall all around Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center gets into the season by decorating for the season and adding some seasonal decorations for the residents and visitor to enjoy. So enjoy the season from all of us at MVNRC.
