The Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had a great time dyeing eggs this year.
We had so much fun that we did not want to stop. We experimented with new colors and even created some new hues after experimenting. The residents also had fun coloring plastic eggs that they could then keep as a token of the special day.

One way for nursing homes to help keep well-loved people as a part of the community is to take part in seasonal events, like an Easter egg hunt. A group of residents from Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center filled plastic Easter Eggs for a local school district’s egg hunt. Our residents had a wonderful time stuffing each little egg with a sweet treat and reminiscing about their own egg hunts.
