We held our annual Mother’s Day Tea this Sunday and had a wonderful time celebrating all of our amazing residents. We enjoyed eclairs and peach tea curtesy of dietary. There were also poetry recitations by activity staff and reminiscing of our mother related memories.
Today we held our annual cake walk for a nursing home week. The residents listened to some classic tunes while patiently waiting to choose their sweet treat. From Boston Crème cake and eclairs to lemon meringue pie and shoofly pie, there was a terrific piece for everyone’s taste. We would like to thank Debby, especially for all of her culinary efforts!
Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (MVNRC) hosted a special bingo game just in honor of Easter. The prizes were Easter themed and included everything from bunnies to a beautifully decorated tree. It was a really special event that you don’t want to miss these great pictures.
